  lEGENDARY CAMPOUT & EPIC RIDE

  ARROYO SECO December 5-7, 2025

  Get ready for an unforgettable weekend at Arroyo Seco Group Campsite, nestled deep in the stunning Ventana Wilderness! This hidden gem features a pristine lakeside setting where thousands of frogs provide nature's soundtrack each night. Located in California's westernmost national forest, you'll trade city noise for mountain air and wilderness adventure. Best part? The club is covering TWO NIGHTS of camping!

  Important Note

  We are piloting electronic signatures for the required liability waiver.  After you register you will receive an email with a link to review and sign the AMA Liability Waiver.  Please review and sign as soon as you receive it.  It's fast and easy and will simplify our operations. 

  The Ride You Can't Miss

  Our Group breakfast and ride is Saturday Dec. th.  We start at Buck's Restaurant in Woodside, a Silicon Valley institution for a hearty breakfast.  After that we take off on a top notch  140-mile journey through some of California's best riding roads.  It's almost all Butler Maps Rated miles.

  Here's the plan:

  • 8:00 AM - Breakfast at Buck's
  • 9:00 AM - Kickstands up - arrive fueled up with GPS loaded and route reviewed

  We'll cruise Skyline Boulevard south, cross Highway 17, then carve through Summit and Highland Roads into Freedom for a legendary pit stop at Freedom Meat Locker. Grab lunch, stock up on premium meats and sausages for campfire dinners, then blast down Highway 1 to Salinas before winding through Carmel Valley Road straight into camp. If you need to stop for more supplies there is a decent market in Carmel Valley about 50 minutes before we arrive. 

  Total ride time: approximately 5 hours plus stops. We're keeping it tight to arrive before the club meeting kicks off.

  • Club Meeting: 4:00 PM Saturday (don't forget, we move up the meetings in Standard Time)

  Songdog Ranch: Why Not?
  Come join BMW NorCal for a fantastic time at one of the club's favorite destinations, Songdog Ranch! Located just south of the Carrizo Plain, this venue offers some awesome old-west-style camping — a perfect spot for us moto adventurers. We've booked the campground for two nights, so there's no excuse not to make the trek down!

  BBQ Dinner & Breakfast – We Need Your Help!
  We’d love to make the Saturday BBQ dinner and Sunday breakfast a big success, but we need some assistance:

  • BBQ Dinner: If a club member could step up to coordinate the food, that would be amazing! If not, we’ll go with a “bring your own food” approach.
  • Breakfast: The details for breakfast are still TBD. We'll keep you posted!

  If you're interested in coordinating food for the event, please reach out! There are a few caterers in the area who could help, and it would be a huge relief. If you're unable to assist, no worries — we’ll simply go the BYO route.

  Ride Information
  Given the diversity of participants, we won't have an organized ride to the campout. Feel free to plan your ride accordingly.

  Important Reminder – Registration Required
  All attendees, including pillions, must be registered for the event. We want to ensure we have everything ready for everyone!
